AIM’s New Year 2015 Wish Message

Dear Volunteer Friend,

I’d like to share my sincere thanks from the bottom of my heart for giving tremendous support to our team in whatever possible way you were able to.

Compared with 2013, we had conducted so many activities in the year 2014 with your support. We were able to touch 1000+ lives through Women’s day, Village sports day, Volunteer’s meet, Science day, Change day, Science exhibition, What to study next, Destroy unemployment, Independence day , Teachers day, Project C , Home visits, Study center visits, Clean and Green City , Feel employable program and 2015 Calendar Make with your valuable time.

We were able to support 100+ lives for their educational and medical needs by your contribution via One Rupee Change, Sponsorship and Blood donations.

In the New Year 2015, I’d request you to take a resolution to Volunteer Once in a Year and also make our friends to volunteer once in this year. “Once you taste the joy of volunteering, then you will get involved in it”. That’s the motto behind this resolution.

We are introducing Flexi – Volunteering and On-call volunteering support wherein volunteers can reach out to our help-line number and express their availability in either weekdays or weekends. We will identify and share the opportunities of volunteering. Lot more initiatives are planned to be implemented. Hope you will support us like how you did in 2014.

Wishing you a very happy New Year 2015!!!

Best Regards,
A Bathur Jaman

AIM’s Change day

On 29th March 2014 @ Akkanayakkanpalayam – Outside village of Coimbatore, We could see Fresh-Curious-exciting faces turning around to see us walking towards them. All were geared up to enjoy the day and so did we.

The day started with the introduction of the team and the concept of Change day. The students were waiting in their classes eagerly to know about the events. 10 volunteers split for each classroom and went on to conduct the events.

All students were givena set of logical thinking questions and were asked to answer. Volunteers explained each question to make students clear and also gave them answer once the answer sheets were collected. there were smiles for right answers and hisses when the answers were not approving for them..

It was time for them to use both their Left and Right brain.

3rd event- River of words.

Students were given 15 unique, distinct words and the task was to use all the words and make a logical story out of it.

Students were eager to play games after the lunch. 7 different games were conducted to make students so active.
