Kishore S. is a determined first-year B.C.A. student from Erode. Despite immense financial hardships, he is dedicated to completing his degree and building a career in technology to support his family.

Overcoming Challenges

Kishore is a bright student who scored 64.4% in his SSLC and an impressive 84% in his +2 exams. His father passed away, and his mother, Gomathi, works as a day laborer(coolie) earning only ₹12,000 a month. While his sister contributes to the family income, they do not own a house or land and have been unable to secure an educational loan. Without help, Kishore risks being forced to drop out.

Have you ever wondered how just a few minutes of your time could create a life-changing difference for someone? Sometimes, what feels like a small effort to us can open doors of opportunity and hope for others.

During the challenging days of Covid, when the world was filled with uncertainty, one of our dedicated volunteers, Suregha, stepped forward with compassion. She conducted English learning sessions over the phone for many students who were unable to attend school or access resources. What seemed like a simple act of kindness at that moment has now turned into a powerful story of transformation.

Recently, one of her students reached out and shared these heartfelt words with us, which left all of us deeply moved:
